I’m currently a Teaching Fellow in British and American Literature at the University of Birmingham.

  • 2015-16: Postdoctoral research fellow at IASH and teaching fellow in English Literature at the University of Edinburgh.
  • 2011-15: PhD at the University of Edinburgh. My thesis, “Electric Amateurs: Literary Encounters with Computing Technologies”, considered changing technological environments in the late twentieth century and turn of the millennium, focusing on portrayals of the internet and personal computing in contemporary fiction, poetry, and digital works.
